Today, LG unveiled 2 new Android powered smartphones - LG Optimus One and LG Optimus Chic. Both these handsets will be loaded with Google Android 2.2 operating system and LG's custom user interface. Both the phones have a 3.2” wide HVGA screen, 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor and features like Google Maps, Google Search, Youtube, Social Networking, digital compass, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, etc. LG Optimus One features a 3.2 megapixel camera versus the Chic's 5 megapixel camera. The Optimus Chic offers a 1250 mAh battery whereas the Optimus One has a 1500 mAh battery.
LG will release the Optimus One in more than 80 countries in October, while the Optimus Chic will be available in November. The pricing of these devices was not released by LG.
